MediaNet : A Managed Signage Platform
MediaNet is a Centralized Managed Digital Information and Signage System. MediaNet manages display signs to present constantly changing, computer generated, full motion video, photo-realistic graphics, text, and animation. Dynamic changes can be made quickly and cost effectively, and targeted messages can be distributed to hundreds or thousands of displays at once. Displays can take the form of scrolling message boards, plasma monitors, and large projection screens, as well as other emerging display types like organic LED. MediaNet is capable to reading data from external systems such as ERP, MIS or Databases.

TECHNOLOGY
MediaNet server is built on the latest Microsoft Windows IIS web server platform. The MediaNet client is capable of running on any commercially available PC with 512MB/1GB RAM running on Windows XP/2000/Vista Operating System. The client can also be loaded on thin client PC with Embedded XP. MediaNet is independent of the back-end database. It can work with MS SQL, Oracle or Sybase. For data exchange between MediaNet client and central server system, a secure XML web service layer is used.

OPERATIONAL FLEXIBILITY
MediaNet Signage is flexible; they can be customized and aimed at smaller target audiences within a bigger audience. Due to its networking, a MediaNet Signage System allows you to change content at multiple locations from one remote authoring station. Changes can be made in messages quickly on displays in one venue, or on any screen anywhere in the world via the Internet/private IP network. MediaNet Signage content can be adapted depending on regional or local interests, demographics and buying patterns. Operators have easy access to exhibition history at display sites with terminals linked to the central servers.

DISPLAY ROATION
Display Rotation defines the duration of each playout "slot" and how many of these slots are included in a rotation for each region of the layout. Whether it is a static ad or a audio visual commercial the true value of the Digital Signage can be harnessed only by advertising multiple products on a single display unit. Ads will rotated on a regular basis and also the duration between two ads should not be much otherwise the impact will be lost. The ideal cycle would be 10 thirty second ads. This would give each product 120 exposures in a day as outlined below.
